Moringa

I accidently ran across an article claiming that Big Pharma was afraid of and would like to ban another natural healing plant. What is that plant/tree? MORINGA! ( I tried to find the article again for a reference, and ‘it’ apparently has been eliminated from the computer system/Wikipedia)

Moringa oleifera has been around in various societies for thousands of years, originating from the Himalaya-region in northwest India, but is now, also cultivated in various countries across Asia, South America, Africa, the Caribbean and the Southern United states, to include Florida. It has been known that groups such as Church World Service National Science Foundation and others introduced the different health benefits of the Moringa tree to various underdeveloped countries to combat malnutrition, especially in the children. Moringa translated means “miracle” and the Moringa tree truly is nature’s miracle with it’s incredible balance of antioxidants, minerals and 18 amino acids.

The Nutritional profile data from the USDA Nutrient Database shows Moringa to contain:

  • 7X More Vitamin C than Oranges
  • 4X More Vitamin A than Carrots
  • 4X More Calcium and 2X more Protein than Milk
  • 3X More Potassium than Bananas
  • 3X More Vitamin E than Spinach
  • 3X More iron than Almonds
  • And, is rich in both Omega-3 and Omega-6 Fatty Acids. It is rich in Magnesium an Fiber, flavonoids, including Quercetin, Kaempferol, Beta-Sitosterol, Caffeoylquinic Acid, Zeatin, Silymarin and essential minerals such as zinc.

Since Moringa is a ‘natural plant’, the vitamins, minerals and antioxidants it provides are easily absorbed in the body.

This plant can save millions of  lives worldwide. It can combat over 300 diseases! It contains over 92 out of 102 nutrients your body needs to heal conditions such as promoting healthy skin, balance hormones, soothe the nervous system, digestion, eyesight, mental clarity, alleviate headaches, support the immune system, reduce allergies, protect the bones, regulate metabolism, decrease water retention, assist in weight control, achieve a better night’s sleep, lower cholesterol, reduce inflammation, balance blood sugar levels, support greater energy, detoxify the body, promote healthy hair, boost the body’s natural defenses and normalize bowel movement.

Moringa is typically eaten or taken in one of several forms, fresh, dried leaf, dried leaf powder, capsules, or even cooked. Moringa leaves grow “clean”. You need only to pick them and eat them.

USES for Moringa, from my experience include: Smoothies, salads and dressings, soup, chip dip, pancakes, worked into bread mixes, on pizza, in spaghetti sauce, in Guacamole, casseroles, and as I like it on popcorn. I sprinkle it on after the butter and sea salt. It can also be sprinkled on fish, and chicken. Use your own creative ideas – you are in for a treat.

I hope this information is informative to all who read it. Grow your own tree, and pick/use as needed.  AGAIN…DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH. It is amazing what you are able find.

GOD BLESS YOU ALL AND EVERYONE IN THE WORLD!
