It’s odd to me how until a health pandemic came along many people have taken their health for granted.

God knew what He was doing when He created us. Every single part of the body is connected – and for a specific reason. The mind, the body, the gut, the heart, the kidneys, the liver, the adrenal system, the lymphatic system, the endocrine system, the blood, muscles, the tendons, and the list goes on and on. Today the topic of concern is the Immune system, and how well you sleep at night. It is important that these interconnected systems function optimally. This can only be done through “living mindfully, moving purposefully and eating thoughtfully to ensure you’re nourishing your body from head to toe.” (quote – Life Extension magazine)

I do health research on a daily basis. In this blog, I would like to share some of the information I have found, that I think would be helpful for everyone, to figure out what it is each of you needs to maintain your body and your health to the best of your ability for your specific health circumstances. 

Taking Food Supplements on Daily Basis - Good or Bad ...

Since the time of Adam and Eve, FOOD, using the term by God as the herbs of the field’ was given them to eat to maintain their body’s. Food has come a long way since then. With much of the natural organic nutrients diminished because of the way food is grown and taken care of today, it has become necessary to add dietary supplements in addition to eating just food. Luckily both help to nourish the body with daily doses of everything needed in order for people to stay well. However, adding supplements can be tricky, unless you have done your own research, and know/understand what supplements you need to take. What is good and needed for one – is not always the same for everyone, because each of you are unique in your body’s chemical makeup. Just something to remember.


As mentioned above the IMMUNE SYSTEM is a stellar part of the body, and today with ill health running rampant as the result of chemicals we are being told to put into our body’s, that can be dangerous, we need to know how to counteract those chemicals. Here are some of the supplements had in foods that are the same as in supplements that are needed to build and maintain a healthy Immune System: Vitamin D, Zinc, Vitamin C, Quercetin.

BRAIN: With the strange chemicals being stuck into the body affecting the BRAIN – supplements are needed for BRAIN SUPPORT. They include: Melatonin which promotes optimal sleep, supports the circadian rhythm, cellular and DNA health: Magnesium for cognition and brain cell signaling, maintaining crucial synaptic connections between brain cells; Cortisol for stress, and there are others. Do the research.

HEART – the heart is being affected, especially among the young males who have no heart issues. What supplements can be taken here? You may find that supplements that are good for one thing are also good for other things – so there will be repetitions starting with: Magnesium – helps maintain vascular function and already-healthy blood pressure, supports bone density and nervous system function: Omega-3, be sure it comes from a good source such as wild caught salmon, sardines, and flax seed; CoQ10 to promote other high-energy organs in addition to the heart such as the liver, and kidneys; Quercetin. Many of you probably have never heard of this supplement, but it promotes endothelial health and immune response. It is a phytonutrient which fights oxidative stress and supports a healthy inflammatory response; Not last and not lease – did you know that Pomegranate, both the fruit and supplements supports the lining of arteries and veins, endothelial cell health and function, and encourages antioxidant production. 

BONES, JOINTS, MUSCLES – The body is full of these and they need maintenance as well. This can be done with: Calcium Citrate which needs Vitamin D to help it to work. This supports bone health/density and maintains blood vessel contraction and expansion. Boron – for healthy bone growth and mineralization, hormone activity, and healthy cell division. PLANT PROTEIN – in my opinion better than animal protein, supports lean muscle mass, satiety and liver function. Glucosamine in sulfate form for knee comfort, joint health and cartilage mobility. Vitamin K2 – slows bone loss, reduces fracture risk, increases bone density, and builds new bone.

VISION – Minimally, on our list of need to take care of things, until you can’t see. There are many products out there that support eye health from macular degeneration to glaucoma. They include supplements such as – Mirtogenol for eye pressure; Saffron, Astaxanthin, zeaxanthin, black currant for macular density, visual sharpness vascular health within the eye. Astaxanthin also optimizes joint, immune, brain cardiovascular, DNA and mitochondrial health. Tip: According to Life Extension scientists, your brain and your eyes are literally connected. They even share the same address (your head)! But for decades, the nutrients lutein and zeaxanthin have been thought of only in terms of their benefits for vision. That’s all changing – as it turns out, these plant-derived nutrients are good for your brain as well. 

All of the body systems need support to include the thyroid, nerves, bladder, liver, GI tract etc. The above listed can at least get you started on the road to regaining your health and building your immune system during a time when many of you might be subject to losing it.

I am between a rock and a hard place – as my dad used to say. I am being asked many questions pertaining to C-19. They include e.g. “Can anything be done to counteract the effect of the ‘S’ if I’ve already had it and don’t want to do the 2nd one?” “Can you send me or email me a C-19 Vx Detox?” “What can I do if I do not want to take a ‘2nd and continued booster ‘S’?” The list goes on.

My research on this subject has never ended since this all started in 2019.  I am not here to tell you what to do, only to hopefully answer your questions and inspire you to do more research on your own. 

The last few weeks I’ve watched videos, listened to podcasts, and read scientific info on the C-19, Vx, regarding the effect of both on many people’s lives. Bottom line? If you have a compromised immune system, this (C-19) or any illness including the common cold can be catastrophic. The media has blown the whole pandemic out of proportion, to the point of making people sick when ordinarily they wouldn’t be. It is called FEAR which equals stress – which equals mental disorders, which equals depression, which equals extreme illness – which can equal death. I think you get the picture. 

My question is – WHY are people allowing the media and political powers that be, to take control of their lives and health? Are folks so caught up in wanting to live a normal, as they used to know it, life, that they will believe and/or do anything they are told.  Can they not think for themselves? Are they so engrossed in the complacency of the past that they have no idea of, or don’t care, what the future holds?  It boggles my mind. 

Returning to the questions.

The body can take a lot of abuse. Think back on what you have put your body through; yet you are still here, and are supposedly healthy. We’ve all been sick, but are we any sicker now than we’ve been in the past?

You’ve heard the quote: “As a man thinketh, so is he.” Apply that to yourself. Is this what is happening to you right now? You’ve been coerced, lied to, led astray by the media and science to the point that you are in total FEAR.  Did you fear when you were told you had diabetes, heart issues,  arthritis, cancer, or lung disease? I venture to say NO. You treated these issues per your doctor’s orders or via self healing methods. 

The immune system has been known to be vulnerable, for centuries. When it is healthy it will allow us to live long lives.


Medically speaking, what does ‘system’ mean?  System (a composite whole) is an organized grouping of related structures, or organs in the body related to each other. They act together in the performance of certain functions e.g. digestive system, nervous system, circulatory system, lymphatic system, reproductive system, etc., and last but not least ‘immune’ system. What does medical ‘immune‘ mean?  Generally speaking ‘immune’ means safe – medically that extends to protected or exemption from a disease. Immunity is a state of being immune or protected from disease. Types of immunity include: acquired (from outside sources); active – resulting from the development within the body of substances which render a person immune; natural, a more or less permanent immunity to disease with which an individual is born, the result of natural inherent factors. It may be due to the natural presence of immune bodies, but other factors such as diet, differences in metabolism or temperature, or adaptive features of infective organisms may be involved; passive – produced by actual injection of a sera containing the antibodies into the subject to be protected. An immunization is the process of rendering a person immune. Does this have anything to do with AUTOIMMUNE  or autoimmune disease?  “With the Greek autos meaning self + immunis, safe, you have a disease in which the body produces disordered immunological response against itself“- according to Taber’s Cyclopedic Medical Dictionary. “Normally, the body’ s immune mechanisms are able to distinguish clearly between what is a normal substance and what is foreign. In autoimmune disease this system becomes defective and produces antibodies against normal parts of the body to such an extent as to cause tissue injury.” Certain diseases, therefore, considered to be autoimmune diseases, as we know them in layman’s terms include, anemia, arthritis, asthma, blood, heart, and lung, to name a few. So what does this have to do with C-19. The CDC told the whole world that C-19 is a virus. However, have you noticed that now they are calling it a disease? 

How have ‘diseases’ been treated in the past? To cut to the chase – by inoculation/injection, whatever you want to call it today. 

What is an injection? It is the forcing of a fluid into a vessel or cavity or – as in the case of C-19, the ‘muscle’, or under the skin. Inoculation is the process of being injected for the purpose of introducing a microorganism, serums, or toxic material into the body, supposedly to immunize or make ‘safe’ the disease. 

From the questions I’ve been asked and discussions I’ve had with folks who’ve had the ‘J..’, there have, in some instances, been issues involving the health, state of mind, nervous system, heart, etc. of the person. This is causing folks to avoid more ‘J…’ or to avoid any ‘J..’ at all. 

After seeing the results of the ‘J..’, many in the medical field believe that the IMMUNE SYSTEM needs to be protected, renewed, refurbished, however you want to say it, and then be maintained. Our immune systems have been compromised for years. E.g. smallpox, measles, chickenpox, tetanus, and/or many other diseases/shots that have been had through the years. Tonsils removal, a tooth pulled? Your immune system has been compromised. The question is ‘what do we do about it’?

There are videos, podcasts, reading materials on health out there regarding ‘what to do about it’. In answer to the questions above, the conclusion = DETOX, DETOX, DETOX; get rid of the SAD (Standard American Diet) by changing your eating habits, exercise, and I add, enjoy life with your family, renew/strengthen your belief in GOD and get back to living life. 

The mainstream media is not going to tell you to do this. Neither will many of the doctors. Why? Control, money and power!

The following suggestions from the experts might help answer your questions depending on each individual’s situation. take before, during and after the ‘J..’

  • Vitamin D3 – Vitamin D is a binding protein. It is needed to fight all autoimmune diseases. The experts are saying to start with 5000 (IU) up to 9600 IU per day. 
  • K2 – helps with calcium levels. 
  • Omega 3 (DHA)- for the brain. Both the C-19 and the ‘J..’ affects the brain, destroying it to the point of dementia. 
  • B12 (methyl folate) – for all the symptoms of the C-19 and the ‘J..’. Symptoms include: fatigue, nerve damage, dizziness, depression, loss of sense of touch.
  • Resveratrol – for blood vessel health
  • Zinc – 30-40 mg/day.  Zinc, a nutrient found throughout the body helps the immune system and metabolism function. Zinc is also important to your sense of taste and smell. 
  • Vit C 500-1000 mg twice a day. 
  • Quercetin 250 mg/day
  • Melatonin 6-10 mg before bedtime (causes drowsiness)
  • Keep the body alkalized. The percentage should be 80% alkaline, 20% acid. However, because of the SAD that percentage is just the reverse. The SAD is the cause of the break down of the immune system. It induces inflammation.
  • Alkaline Foods: include watermelon, lemon juice (yes lemon juice is alkaline as is grapefruit); oranges are acidic in the citrus family. A lemon water fast is a good way to start a body detox. I suggest you go back in my blogs and find my DETOX DIET PLAN.  Additionally, keep your kidney’s, bladder, stomach  and bowels functioning normally. Drink  Aloe Vera Water…make your own. Aloe Vera cleans from the inside out getting rid of worms and parasites. Keep your Lymphatic (sewer)system working. Stress shuts off the immune system and slows down the blood flow. 

PURCHASING PRODUCTS – Buy the best. There are many brands that have more fillers than product. You will not be getting what is claimed to be in the bottle. Check the serving size. E.g. the front of the bottle says 500 mg; the back says take 2 per day; do not think or assume that you are taking 1000 mg. The truth is 2 per day will give you 500 mg. not that there are 500 mg. in each tablet or capsule. 

WE ARE, IN CONTROL OF OUR FATE by what we put in our body and mouth. When the body is deficient in nutrients the body breaks down. the best way to get nutrients into our body. However, pestilence sprays, artificial fertilizers and genetical modification causes the nutrient values to be low. How foods are prepared also has an effect on the nutrient factor. It is impossible to get all of our nutrients from food – hence the need for supplementation.

Did you know that the people who manufacture the food products, and supplements that you buy are not responsible or liable if you get sick from them or the supplements don’t work. The supplement industry is not regulated like you are led to believe. They don’t always tell the truth. This makes everything a risk; there should be no risk.

BIG MARKETERS supply more than 1 manufacturer, therefore, many foreign countries are not always compliant with the regulations and standards put on food or supplements that they sell to the US. The 2 countries that I can name are China and India. Having been a small manufacturer myself of a supplement product, I had to research all of this, and know it to be true. The manufacturer is responsible for the truth of what is put into their products. PRICE…the manufacturer of brands can charge whatever they want. European products are non GMO – or so they say, but you would have a hard time proving that. 

How do you separate the good products from the bad. Pharma and Grocery store chains can’t afford law suits, so they do try to abide by the rules.

When eating foods and taking supplements, remember too much of a good thing can be detrimental via overdosing. Yes you can overdose on food and supplements. Too much of both causes toxicity. However,the body has its own way of protecting itself by way of the immune system.  Because of individual chemistry differences what may be good for one may not be good for all. Most people do not know how the body works and that’s what gets them into trouble. 

BUYING FOOD AND SUPPLEMENTS….find a brand of food or supplements that works for you. One that you like, can trust, and can stick with. These industries are, “wild, wild west industries.” They can say whatever they want to sell their products. If you are doing your own research you can go to They have great information. Food and supplements do have an affect on people’s health. 

In answer to the question regarding counteracting the ‘J..’ DON’T GET IT IN THE FIRST PLACE. You will not find a way to counteract it on any mainstream news, in media, or on TV. There are video’s, podcasts, seminar’s, and information on alternative channels. They include new private websites: Rumble, Telegram,,, etc. Books, e.g. ‘Supplements Revealed’ by Bryan Haycock. Do the research. 


  • Hydroxychloroquine (follow package/doctor’s instructions)
  • Ivermectin 0.2-0.4mg/kg per dose (take with or after meals) One dose daily, take for 5 days or until recovered. Consult your doctor.
  • Homemade Organic recipe: 3 peels of organic grapefruit, 3 peels of organic lemons. Put in water in a pan to cover 3 inches above the peels. Boil, then simmer for 3 hours. Let cool. Put in a Mason Jar. Take 2 Tablespoons 2 times a day. 
  • Sauna – sweat out the toxins.
  • Keep nasal passage clear – steam inhalation 3 times/day. Add Vapor Rub

Question Words…

How to Use Transition Words in Academic Writings ...are words,that when used, always end with a question mark (?).  These words are Who?, What?, Why?, When?, Where?, and How? They can be put in any order that you want to put them. They may be asked as needed pertaining to any issue They are all common sense words, and as questions, need common sense answers. 

My last blog was on ‘COPD’. I received a comment from someone who had COPD and also had had COVID, asking ‘WHY’ I did not make mention of ‘HOW’ COPD might be associated with COVID. Then someone else asked me if in my research I had found anything I could tell them to take or do that would help cure either or both diseases. 

With all the censoring that is going on, I have been cautioned by the powers that be, what I can and cannot say about any health issue. Many doctors and other professional people in the health field have already been banned from social media, You Tube, and other internet sources for speaking out and speaking the truth. So, it is with caution that I will proceed to answer the above questions. 

I have found that many research sources, especially Google and Wikipedia have made changes to the explanation of what, how, or why something may or may not be, to fit into their agenda of what they want us, the general public, to know. We are to remain questionless. I found no scientific sources that mentioned any way to cure either of the above mentioned illnesses. It was only mentioned that they are both killer diseases which could be managed (didn’t say how to manage them), or you could be made comfortable having, but you should be prepared to meet your maker sooner or later. 

I will be stepping over my bounds if I mention that the best way to start any healing process – which in both cases includes the already compromised ‘immune system’ – is to Detox first. Detoxing helps to rid the body of the toxins we have been abusing our bodies with for years. These toxins render our bodies very acidic. This can be remedied by using sources (supplements (vitamins) and/or herbal), and eating foods that will lower the acidity in your body so eventually your body can become alkaline based. The ratio should be 80% alkaline and 20% acidic. The body controls its own acidity without our eating things that ups the acid percentage.

Once you have this under control – you must maintain. As with any disease, and I don’t even have to mention names, a change of diet to healthier eating and drinking habits is the only way to go. It is a long and tedious process for many, depending on whether you have a mild, acute, or chronic condition of any disease you are battling, be it the heart, the lungs, the bones, the gut, etc. The body can regenerate in some instances, but in most in most cases only repair. The body part that has been compromised will never return to being in perfect condition.

You can add years to your life if this regeneration or repair is done by NATURAL MEANS. Chemical methods, via prescription medications, used by conventional doctors, the CDC, WHO, and big Pharma may add a few years, but in the process of supposedly healing one part or organ of the body, prescribed chemicals/ medications break down or destroy other parts of the body. Hence the need for continued chemical control. It could be said at this point, that you will have become addicted to drugs. I am not allowed to mention the ‘pin prick’ that has been used in the past and pushed between then and now, that has been attested to by many humans to have done more harm than good in handling health issues. When you feel that is the only way to go, consider yourself addicted to that method of drug use as well.

Draw your own conclusions folks. You must already be aware that big Pharma, and as of late everything, is all about control, power over the innocent God loving, and God fearing humans; and the billions of dollars that are ending up in the pockets of the powers that be.

Many people are familiar with the term COPD because of what they see on TV and, because of seeing many walking among us with inhalers in their hands or with oxygen tanks strapped to their backs.

Pulmonary disease concerns or involves the lungs. The medical term for COPD is Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease. It all starts with the circulation of the blood. The Taber’s Cyclopedic Medical Dictionary explains it as, “passage of blood from heart to lungs and back again for purification. The blood flows from the right cardiac ventricle through the lungs, there to be oxygenated; then back to the left cardiac atrium.” The word ‘obstructive’ is indicative of a blockage somewhere as the blood flows.

COPD has become prevalent in today’s society with the reasons being varied. I could make this a long drawn out blog, but feel it necessary not to. I will try to touch on what seems needed for the general public to have a better understanding of it.

The COPD Foundation describes it “as an umbrella term used to describe progressive lung diseases including emphysema and chronic bronchitis.” I researched several sources and they all say pretty much the same thing. (Wikipedia, Mayo Clinic, COPD foundation and CDC)

General Overview

Symptoms – don’t usually appear until significant lung damage has already occurred, and often worsens over time. Signs and symptoms may include:

  • Shortness of breath,
  • Wheezing
  • Chest tightness
  • Chronic coughing which produces mucus, clear, white, yellow or greenish. All of the, so far, mentioned symptoms are indicative in people who typically may have been exposed long term to irritating gases or particulate matter most often related to cigarette smoking. Emphysema and chronic bronchitis are the two most common conditions and usually occur together, varying in severity with each individual. “Emphysema is a condition in which the alveoli at the end of the smallest air passages (bronchioles) of the lungs are destroyed. Chronic bronchitis is inflammation of the lining of the bronchial tubes, which carry air to and from the air sacs (alveoli) of the lungs.” Further symptoms include:
  • Frequent respiratory infections
  • Lack of energy
  • Unintended weight loss
  • Swelling in ankles, feet or legs

COPD can be experienced in “episodes called exacerbations, during which their symptoms become worse than the usual day-to-day variation and persist for at least several days.”

If you are experiencing any of the above it is imperative that you see your doctor.

It is apparent from all my sources that the main cause of COPD in developed countries is tobacco smoking, but can also occur in people who have been exposed to fumes from burning fuel for cooking, and, heating in poorly ventilated homes.

People with COPD risk developing heart disease, lung cancer and a variety of other conditions. I have friends who fit into this scenario perfectly  – they all have heart issues and have experienced some type of lung cancer.

How are your lungs affected? Air travels down your windpipe (trachea) and into your lungs through the large bronchial tubes. Inside the lungs these tubes divide like the branches of a tree into smaller tubes that end in clusters of tiny air sacs which have very thin walls full of tiny blood vessels. The oxygen in the air that you breathe passes into these blood vessels and enters your bloodstream. COPD causes these tubes to lose their elasticity and over-expand. This leave some air trapped in your lungs when you exhale. This airway obstruction ends up causing the emphysema and bronchitis.

You have determined by now that smoking is the biggest culprit, and you say ” I have friends who have smoked all their lives and are perfectly fine. Or “I have friends who have never smoked and they have COPD.” I understand. There are irritants other than smoking that can cause lung damage and COPD. They include: secondhand smoke (which I can attest to – having worked in an office where everyone in the room smoked, causing me to go home each night thinking I had breathed my last breath). To continue: pipe smoke, air pollution and workplace exposure to dust, smoke or deadly fumes. Genetic susceptibility to the disease may also be a factor, because as aforementioned, not all smokers develop COPD. The list can go on and on.

Complications – can arise to include:

  • respiratory infections. – colds, the flu and pneumonia.
  • heart problems – for reasons the doctors don’t even fully understand. However, you must remember, it is the lungs that control the heart.
  • lung cancer – already mentioned
  • high blood pressure in the lung arteries that brings the blood to your lungs
  • depression – difficulty breathing can keep you from your normal activities, evolving into depression.


How to Treat COPD

There is hope. I have a friend who has chronic COPD. She is on oxygen 24/7, but she never gives up. The good news is that there are ways to slow the progression of the disease. Since we now know it is directly related to cigarette smoking, the best way to prevent COPD is to never smoke or as they say  STOP – NOW.

As for COPD being caused by occupational hazards – mainly chemical fumes and dusts – you need to discuss with your boss or supervisor about protecting yourself from the exposure, such as using respiratory protective equipment. According to OSHA guidelines – this is the only time anyone needs to wear a mask.

Lastly talk to your doctor if you experience any of the above mentioned conditions, causes etc. Also, do your own research. COPD is a preventable disease as well as manageable. However, I couldn’t find anywhere that it is curable. My knowledge tells me that is because the lungs are not regrowable as are some of our body’s organs. As well, the lungs cannot be fully repaired.

Misc…who knew?

I just moved to a new area here in Florida, and that was an experience. When you are downsizing you find all the things you have that you don’t remember or know you have. Let me share some of those things with you.

  • HONEY POWDER: Yes – honey in powdered form. Not a bad thing. It is used like any powdered sweetener. Just sprinkle on your cereal, in your tea etc…or add water to liquify it again and use it as you would Honey.
  • WD40: I not only had it in small cans, I had a 1/2 gallon bottle of WD40. Did you know WD-40 stands for Water Displacement #40. This product was created in 1953 by three technicians at the San Diego Rocket Chemical Company. It began from a search for a rust preventative solvent and degreaser to protect missile parts. The 40 comes from it being the fortieth formulation. Ken East (one of the original founders) says “there is nothing in WD-40 that would hurt you…”it is made from fish oil.” What can it be used for? I have a list that has 43 uses for WD40. Here are just a few – to refresh your memory: removes paint; removes road tar and grime from cars; keeps flies off cows; removes lipstick stains; untangles jewelry chains; keeps glass or plastic shower doors free of water spots;camouflages scratches in ceramic and marble floors; lubricates just about everything; keeps rust from forming on saws and saw blades and other tools; keeps pigeons off the balcony; removes all traces of duct tape; relieves arthritis pain; Florida’s favorite use: ‘cleans and removes Love Bugs from grills and bumpers’; attracts fish – just spray a little on live bait or lures; takes the sting away from fire ant bites; last on my list but not least – WD40 is good for any type of burns. It takes the burned feeling away and heals with no scarring.
  •  With all the talk of preparation, preparation, preparation, in case the worst thing happens in this chaotic world, of us being without food or electricity, water, etc. I ran across the directions for using a ‘Wonder or Clever or Hot Box Cooker.’ What is it and how is it made? Who knows? I Only have directions for cooking with it.
  • Always wondered what the difference is between http and https. Well I found an article I had saved on just that. In case you don’t know…”the main difference between http:// and https :// is it’s all about keeping you secure.” HTTP stands for Hyper Text Transfer Protocol. The S (big surprise) stands for “Secure“. When you visit a website or web page, and look at the address in the web browser, it will likely begin with the http:///; This means that  on your computer’s conversation with the website. the website is talking to your browser using the regular unsecured language. In other words, it is possible for someone to ‘eavesdrop’ – to see the information you are sending to that site. This is why you never ever enter your credit card number in an http website. But, if the web address begins with https://, that basically means your computer is talking to the website in a secure code that no one can eavesdrop on. Bottom line:  YOU SHOULD NEVER ENTER SENSITIVE INFORMATION…such as a credit card number, SS#, etc. on an unsecure http site. To top it all off, I found many pages of SCAMS – email, phone, etc. put out by the Sheriff’s department…and my kids think I fall for all of those things. Apparently not, I have had these papers for a long time since 2011.

If food becomes scarce, as is being talked about, each and everyone of us needs to be prepared. Food storage has been encouraged for many years. But how many of you have adhered to the advice?

Food for storage, can be dehydrated, freeze dried etc. helping it to last many years before being consumed. In the meantime – for the present, before the government controls our ability to grow our own food, I suggest you start now to do just that. If you live in the city – the term used to grow food would be ‘urban farming’, otherwise you might be lucky enough to live in the rural areas, on a farm or a ranch. Since the majority of people live in the cities, I would like to start there with suggestions as to how to do ‘urban farming’. Here are some key factors:

  • Sun – the sun has to be ideal. Generally, you need to know which side of the house works best for the food you plant to grow. Here in Florida, I find that the south and east side of the house is best for me. Which foods do best in the sun, and which do best in the shade/semi-shade. 
  • Soil – you need to know the soil. Every state has different soil. Some are of clay, some rocky, some sandy, some lacking in nutrients, and with luck, some soils are rich in nutrients. You need to research your area to find out what the soil is like in your area  and what kind of soil would be best for you to use for what you are planting. I find that using ‘Potting Mix‘ and not ‘Potting Soil’ that comes in bags at the nursery or stores, is the best to use for growing plants and food in pots around your home – if you live in the city and do not have a large yard. ‘Potting Mix‘ usually already has natural fertilizers in it as well as mulch which helps to hold the water so the plants do not dry out. It also works well when you plant directly into the soil. Dig a huge hole and fill it with the Potting Mix before planting your plants and especially food. 
  • Hydroponic: this is growing plants, food, etc. in a base that may or may not be soil oriented. The water used here and for all types of growing should not be chlorinated water. The chlorine should be filtered out and the pH balanced. I was not aware of this until I did this research. Chlorinated water can cause thyroid issues in humans. Think of how it would affect plants. Yes they grow, but the nutrient value is stifled. The same goes for using water that has been softened. The salt which is used to soften water is not good for plants. The salt build up eventually kills the plant – be it flowers, bushes or seedling food plants. Also, softened water should be used sparingly as a drinking water consumption for humans and animals. The build up there can cause a variety of health issues, especially if you already have health issues or are diabetic. 
  • Tower Gardens – good for city living. Can be put on the roof of condominiums, in shared city garden spaces, or in small yards where space is minimal. If the top of a building is your only alternative, you need to find a way to provide some kind of shade on the rooftop as full sun all day, everyday, is detrimental to most plants. There are many sources for you to research in regards to “Tower Gardens.”
  • Seeds: Know where your seeds or plant sources are coming from Seeds should be organic or non-GMO, and I suggest non-Hybrid.  Plants that you purchase in Garden Spots like in Home Depot and Walmart are not likely to be non-GMO or non-Hybrid. A good old fashioned Nursery may be your best source to buy organic seeds and seedling food plants.  I found that most hybrid food sources, are, like it is said, ‘enhanced to be bigger and better,’ but they do not reproduce well – e.g tomato planGarfield Park | Chicago Community Gardeners Associationts die quickly after the tomatoes are picked. With organic, non-GMO and non-hybrid plants, you can cut the stems back and the plant will grow big again and give you crop after crop…depending on how many times you cut them back and the weather permits. 

This information is just a beginning. Know your sun schedule, know your soil, know your water, know your food source – seeds or seedling plant starts. Now do your homework, and apply it to your situation/lifestyle. Food grown by you, without artificial fertilizers and pesticides, always tastes better, and lasts longer in storage than the food most of us consume that is store bought. We have no idea how long the food we purchase in the grocery store has been enroute to get to the store, how long it has been stored in the warehouse, or how long it has been on the shelf, before we purchase, and consume it. And remember, this food has been sprayed with or had preservatives added to it so it will stay and look fresh when they do finally put it on the the shelf for us to buy.

A lot has been happening over the past few weeks making it difficult for me to stay current on my blogging. But, I am back – no I haven’t had the big “C” word that I am forbidden to mention or anything pertaining to it.

I like this anonymous quote:

“You live longer once you realize that any time spent being unhappy is wasted.”

So true. The list can be long on what can make  a person unhappy. First on my list is a person’s HEALTH. The lungs are the main organs that keep you alive, keeps the heart beating. However, many folks choose to destroy their lungs by ‘smoking.’  Breathing contaminated air,and/or illness, such as pneumonia also affects the lungs.

The Most Common Ammonia-based Cleaning Products

Based on a new independent study of 20 years of research, it has been revealed that cleaning your home with common cleaning products can be added to the list of causing lung damage. Many of these products are well-known grocery store brands made with ammonia, chlorine bleach, quaternary disinfectant compounds and other dangerous chemicals. The study showed “that cleaning with these products as little as once a week was as damaging over time to respiratory health as smoking a pack of cigarettes a day for 20 years.” It also stated that women are affected far more than men, and that cleaning at home is just as harmful as being an occupational cleaner, because the damage is cumulative over time. Liquid cleaners are just as dangerous as sprays. I recently discovered that I am allergic to disinfectant sprays, which I hardly ever used but have done more frequently because of the big push since the pandemic.  Using them on a regular basis was making me feel disoriented and dizzy. I quit using them and the disorientation and dizziness went away.


Rid your home of all cleaning products that contain ammonia, quaternary  disinfectants, chlorine bleach, and any other dangerous chemicals. The product most involved are toilet cleaners, shower and tub cleaners, scrubs, stain removers, floor cleaners, degreasers, window and glass cleaners, and any all purpose cleaners.

Do any of these health issues apply to you? Read each to discover a possible way to avoid them.

  • Fibromyalgia – absolutely no caffeine. You are also low in iron.
  • Diverticulitis – is inflammation in the colon. You should not be using caffeine oriented drinks or foods. Needed is an intake of probiotic foods, Turmeric, and also aloe vera.
  • Hand Sanitizers – it is being now noted by scientists that hand sanitizers can be dangerous, especially for children when sprayed, or rubbed in the eyes. I have found I am allergic to sanitizers and disinfectants. They cause me to become light headed – especially when used on a regular basis and many times during the day. Reading the ingredients you must note that they are full of chemicals that are dangerous to the human bodily systems.
  • Tattoos – How many people do you see that are covered with tattoos? One is too many. Tattoos have increased in large numbers starting from 20 years ago. The risks of getting a tattoo are scary. However, it is up to you as to what you want to happen to your health. The TATTOO RISKS are as follows: chronic infection, accelerating risk for type 11 diabetes, heart disease, strokes, arthritis, Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia, kidney and liver failure, autoimmune disorders, as well as many other diseases. Exposure to heavy metals – the inks contain pigments derived from heavy metals (mercury, lead and dyes) all of which are carcinogens. Early skin cancer – toxins from the metals also damage the DNA, cause oxidative stress and weaken the immune system. Scaring –how you ask, does this happen? The tiny ink particles enter the bloodstream and lymphatic system potentially migrating to the organs of the body.

Tattoo removal – usually done by laser, does not solve the problem. The harmful impact of a tattoo may be permanent. Each time one is applied and then removed, damage to the skin increases, as does exposure to potential toxins.

Little conclusive research has been done on this subject, but you can do your own research.

On a more positive note – what do you know about MAGNESIUM? Magnesium is a mineral that is vital to the healthy support of the body. It’s benefits: builds bone, produces energy, synthesizes proteins. Surveys show that magnesium deficiency in the United States is of epidemic proportions. (National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey)

What is an inadequate level of magnesium linked to? Cardiovascular disease, stroke, coronary heart disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, endothelial dysfunction resulting in atherosclerosis a narrowing of the arteries that restricts blood flow, and death.

What to do: I take magnesium on a regular basis. One just does not get the amount needed to maintain magnesium health from the foods we eat (Standard American Diet). The amount needed on a daily basis is no less than 600 to 800 mg. Many people I talk to say ” I take magnesium,” but they don’t take the amount needed to combat the cardiovascular problems. Also, it needs to be noted that a scientific review from 2010 to 2018 suggests that in some people, the use of proton-pump inhibitors causes low magnesium levels. These pumps are used for people with GERD. Be sure you ask your doctor to check your magnesium levels before using one of these pumps.

The right amount of magnesium will reduce inflammation, high blood pressure; improve coronary artery disease issues, blood flow and oxygen delivery in many patients with these diseases. I find that taken on a regular basis it is a great pain reducer, relaxer, and bowel cleanser. Remember when your mother used to give you Milk of Magnesia to make you have a bowel movement? It is good for many other things as well. DO YOUR RESEARCH!

Even though the Socialist government regime that is in charge at the present time thinks that history should be abolished, it never will be as long as there are still people populating this earth. I never thought about it before, but maybe that is why the folks in charge are trying to depopulate the world in anyway they can, with vaccines, green new deals, getting rid of all food that is nourishing, and now, as I recently read in the news, are trying to shut down any information being put online regarding the use of Vitamin D being a possible deterrent to the COVID virus. In other words, anything being said that will help to save lives is unacceptable to the CDC and government’s agenda. It is a sad, sad world that we are presently living in. Our God given freedoms are being taken away from us a little at a time. Even sadder is that almost 50% of the people have already ‘drank the Kool Aid’.


I said that I would research ways to help all of you who have taken the ‘shot’, as well as those who haven’t. For you who have, the following should ‘help’ to counteract the effect of the vaccine from tearing down your immune system. After all staying healthy is all about the immune system. It will help those who are healthy to maintain the health of your immune systems.  

  • First on the list, is still my suggestion that you take Vitamin C, Vitamin D3 and Zinc on a regular basis. They have been on the list of supplements to take for health maintenance for years. I am not allowed to say if it will or will not work, even though, for those who take it, they say it works – to include myself. 
  • I am reading in the news where side effects of the vaccine can include, blood clotting, dizziness, lung, breathing, brain fog, and congestion problems as well as other inflammatory issues. To start with, all of these issues begin because the body is full of toxins, the pH of the body is too acidic, and the immune system is already weak. 

The first thing to do is DETOX. Do at least a 3 day to 1 week fast, to kick start the flushing of the toxins from the system. Next, if you are a smoker – QUIT! If you are a drinkerQUIT! If you are hooked on junk foodQUIT! The pandemic has literally driven many who never had these bad habits to start, and those who already did to overdo – even to the point of committing violent acts and committing suicide. Replace these habits with a nutritional diet, drink lots of water, exercise to your ability to do so, and last but not least take supplements as needed to get the bodily systems to start their journey back to normalcy. You need to realize –it will not happen overnight. It will take time. You will need patience, and perseverance. 

  • Things to take in addition to the C, D, and zinc include: Fish Oils – fish oils are anti-clogging supplements. These should be taken before you get the shot in the arm. Good to prevent blood clotting which is a type of inflammation in the body. Oregano Oil – taken before and after the shot will help to protect you from the effects of the COVID-19 virus and vaccine. Garlic – Raw Garlic has for generations been a fighter against infection, viruses and bacteria. Taking garlic is taking something that is corrosive to fight against the bad things in the vaccine.

    The effects of taking the vaccine can take as long as 1-2 years to show health issues in the body systems. There is an old saying, “prevention is worth more than a pound of cure.” Start now – DETOX, GOOD NUTRITION, EXERCISE. Surrender to good health – not to vaccines. Last but not least:

There is a saying, “If it isn’t broke don’t fix it.” I want to go further regarding what we are watching and hearing in the news these days. I say, ‘If it is broke – FIX IT!’ It seems like all we hear and see are people espousing their opinions as to how to fix it, but I am not seeing any righteous action. The socialistic government leaders are acting to fix things that are not broke and the result is drastic breakage. The things that are broke are just being ignored – and nothing is being fixed. Is it just me or do you feel the same way?

Since medical marijuana was made legal. Folks are being inundated with information about CDC. It is said that Hemp is a relative of marijuana. I ran across an article on Hemp Seeds and discovered that this mild, nutty seed has been used in China for more than 3,000 years as both a food and medicine. They also boast an abundance of protein, healthy fats, and minerals. The consumption of Hemp Seeds can help reduce the risk of heart disease, lower blood pressure, decrease cholesterol induced platelet aggregation and help the heart to recover after a heart attack. Oh…and the polyunsaturated fatty acids found in hemp seed oil (omega-3 and omega-6 fats)  can improve atopic dermatitis issues. Last, but not least, you can sprinkle the seeds on salads, add to smoothies, or use as a topping on your favorite bowl of oatmeal. 

Coffee is touted to be both good and bad. I am not a coffee drinker – yuk. If you are a coffee drinker there are a few things you need to know:

  • The bad news is that….caffeine is quietly sabotaging your energy levels. I know, coffee drinkers always say -“it wakes me up and gives me energy.” There are many energy drinks that are coffee based, but actually, drinking coffee every day will create negative “wiring” in your brain that will cause you to feel tired and sleepy. That ‘lift’ as you call it is short lived, about 30 minutes long. You do not want your brain to become dependent on the chemical ‘caffeine’ that is in coffee.

The good news – there are other natural ways to power up your brain and give you energy. DO THE RESEARCH!

Did you know that the lymphatic system is how your body cleanses. With all the viruses out there the lymphatic system is being discussed more and more in the natural healing world. There is more fluid in the lymphatic system than is in the circulatory system. Unlike blood – moved by the cardiovascular system by the heart, the lymphatic system doesn’t have a pump to move the lymph fluid. 

Gabe Golden in Lighting the Path tells us that ” This requires movement and maintenance on our part to keep the lymphatic system from backing up and increasing the amount of toxins we retain.” In other words, you need to unclog the lymph and get it moving. Toxins involved can be infections or heavy metal toxicity. You can get the lymph system going by moving properly – any variety of exercise will work to include walking. Lightly brushing the skin on the body toward the heart prior to showering can help stimulate lymph movement. Rinse off with cold water for a minute or two. Find a good massage therapist.

To end on a positive note – you can increase your strength, power, and endurance by taking a single supplement, many of you have never heard of called – creatine. As you get older you will experience muscle loss. Creatine can:
