Life’s Lessons…

“Truth in journalism is essential.”  This is the Epoch Times ‘motto’. I believe also, that ‘truth’ in blogging is essential.’

Questions most asked in life are WHO, WHAT, WHY, WHERE, HOW, and WHEN?  Today, we are living in trying times. Who is causing the strife? What will be done about it? Why is it happening? Where is this going? How did it happen, And, When will it end?

Trials and tribulations have been a part of life for all humans, since Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. God, in the Garden, gave Adam and Eve directions, and a choice. They, for a short period of time, lived in the garden, saw the beauty, had plenty to eat, and enjoyed the peace, when along came a visitor – Satan. His part in the story was to tempt Adam and Eve: mislead them into thinking that God’s intention for them was not what they thought it was. He, Satan, cunningly enticed them into thinking that what they saw with their own eyes – was NOT what they saw. That what they were told by God was NOT what they were told.  It was at this point that Adam and Eve had to make a choice. The ‘choice’ was – God giving them the FREEDOM to make the ‘choice.’

If they had chosen to stay in the Utopian Garden, in which they were living, this bible story would have been ‘a beautiful love story with no ending.’  But, in case you missed it, in the story, God had a plan. The plan included Satan – the deceiver, the lover of lies to tempt Adam and Eve. Satan told them that ‘If they partook of the fruit’, they were told by God to not partake of, ‘they would become like God.’ What does that mean, become like God? It means knowing right from wrong, what to do, what not to do; what is good, what is bad. Who was/is right, wrong, good, or bad. Why things are good, or bad.  How things are good, bad, right or wrong. Where would these choices be made. When would these choices ‘have’ to be made, etc.

Whether Adam and Eve made the right or wrong choice, I will leave up to you, to think about. However, I know one thing for sure – You and I would not be here on this earth, at this place in time, or have had the life experiences we have had, were it not for the choice Adam and Eve made. God’s plan was for them to have posterity – children, you and me. This could only happen outside of the Garden of Eden.

All through our lives we have had to make choices. Whether that choice was right or wrong, that choice had a consequence. In essence, you choose to follow and do what is right, or you choose to follow and do what is wrong. It is the consequence of the choice you make that you have to deal with throughout your lifetime.

The year 2020, and now going into 2021, has been, and will continue to be a  trying time for everyone in the world. Whether you believe it or not, we are witnessing God’s plan. The story has not ended yet, but the end is in sight – it will come. The love story will end. My prayer is for it to end with MY AND YOUR LOVE and FAITH IN GOD.

It is not to be ended with the love of one man over another, or one political party over another. The finality of this political fiasco, so far, has been determined by the choice of only a minority of the people. At the present time your life is being controlled physically/mentally by one man; one political belief. He is presently deciding the fate for each of you who are believers in God. The consequence of that choice made by only a minority of the people of America will affect the life of millions of people for many years to come.

Pastors and ministers everywhere are reminding us that God is in charge. Read your bible. What is happening now has happened throughout the history of many nations.

Biblically speaking, in the end there will be a judgement; a judgement by God of the people who are now, or in the past, have been evil; and those saints who are now, and were in the past, a righteous people. This will happen after the millennium, the thousand years when Jesus Christ will rule the world.

The Judgement – paraphrasing Matthew 25: 31-34 …the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another…Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: Verse 41, Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: and finally in Verse 46, And these shall go away into everlasting punishment; but the righteous into life eternal, (the verses in between explain the reason for this judgement).

The bible is ‘the truth‘ in journalism.

The purpose of my blogs are to bring informational truth to you, my readers. What you believe or don’t believe is your choice. Research the internet. Research the bible. Draw your own conclusions; then act upon your choice. 

Life’s lessons learned have always been in God’s hands. “What you are is God’s gift to you. What you make of yourself is your gift to Him.”
